ABOUT ME

Hello, I’m Sophie — a self-taught abstract artist based in the North West of England, inspired by the beauty, colour and ever-changing moods of nature.​

I live in a pretty little town near the beach with my husband, Tim, our two children, Eva and Leo, and our little dog, Bluebell. Living close to the coast is a constant source of inspiration, while music is always playing in the background when I’m in my creative space.

Alongside my art, I’ve been a teaching assistant at a local primary school for the past twelve years, where I also run an after-school creative club. Encouraging children to explore their own creativity brings me so much joy.

​

It’s been a real privilege to see my own artwork begin to find its way into the wider audience. I exhibited at the Liverpool Art Fair at the Royal Liver Building in 2024 and 2026, and this year I was also delighted to have work selected for The Sefton Open at The Atkinson in Southport.

I’m excited to continue exploring, creating and seeing where my artistic journey takes me next.
